Communication Ladder

At St. Lawrence Academy, we value open, respectful, and solution-focused communication. To ensure every question or concern is addressed thoughtfully and efficiently, we follow a clear communication ladder. This process helps us work together in partnership and ensures matters are handled at the appropriate level.

Teacher

Your child’s teacher is always the first point of contact. They know your child best in the day-to-day school environment and can often resolve questions or concerns quickly. We encourage parents to reach out by email or request a meeting when needed.

Executive Director

If the issue requires further support or remains unresolved after speaking with the teacher, the next step is to contact the Executive Director. The Executive Director oversees school operations, student wellbeing, and overall academic standards, and can help guide more complex concerns.

Parent Rep of the board

Should the concern continue or involve broader school policies, parents may then contact the Parent Representative of the Board. This representative offers a parent perspective and serves as a bridge between families and the Board, ensuring your voice is heard.

chairman of the board

If all previous steps have been followed and the concern still requires attention, the final step is to bring the matter to the Chairman of the Board. This ensures the highest level of oversight and accountability within our school governance.

The students pledge to:
